About THOR
What is THOR's investment philosophy?
THOR Financial Technologies, LLC ("THOR") uses digital signal processing, the same science behind noise-canceling headphones, in seeking to identify changes in market conditions. Rather than predicting markets, the strategies aim to respond to conditions as they change, and the Funds may allocate up to 100% to U.S. money market funds, cash, cash alternatives, other ETFs, or other permitted temporary investments when signals turn negative, as described in the Funds' prospectus.
How much does THOR manage?
THOR offers model strategies across three ETFs and separately managed accounts.
Who is THOR designed for?
Whether a THOR ETF is appropriate depends on an investor's objectives, risk tolerance, time horizon, and overall portfolio. Investors should review each fund's investment objective, principal strategies, risks, fees and expenses before investing, and should consult a financial professional.
The ETFs
How do the THOR ETFs differ?
THOR Index Rotation ETF rotates between three major U.S. equity indexes, THOR Equal Weight Low Volatility ETF equal-weights ten S&P 500 sectors with adaptive de-risking, and THOR AdaptiveRisk Dynamic ETF is an actively managed multi-strategy, multi-asset ETF with dynamic allocation across equities, leveraged ETFs, fixed income, commodities (including gold), and alternative assets (including cryptocurrencies).
What is THOR AdaptiveRisk Dynamic ETF?
THOR AdaptiveRisk Dynamic ETF is an actively managed fund designed to dynamically allocate across multiple strategies and asset classes. Its exposure may include equities, leveraged ETFs, commodities (including gold), and alternative assets (including cryptocurrencies). To respond to adverse market, economic, political or other conditions, the Fund may invest 100% of its total assets, without limitation, in high-quality short-term debt securities and money market instruments, as described in the Fund's prospectus.
Can THOR's ETFs really go to 100% cash?
Yes. THOR Index Rotation ETF and THOR Equal Weight Low Volatility ETF may allocate up to 100% to U.S. money market funds, cash, cash alternatives, other ETFs, or other permitted temporary investments, as described in the Funds' prospectus, when relevant signals turn negative. The Funds also have temporary-investment policies allowing high-quality short-term debt securities and money market instruments. THOR AdaptiveRisk Dynamic ETF is also designed with defensive flexibility, as described in the Fund's prospectus.
How often do the portfolios rebalance?
Each fund follows a systematic rebalancing process described in the prospectus. Signal evaluation and any resulting portfolio adjustments occur on a defined schedule managed by the adviser.
What are the expense ratios?
Please refer to each fund prospectus for current expense ratios and complete fee information.
Implementation
How do I buy THOR ETFs?
All three THOR ETFs trade on major exchanges and are available through most brokerages and custodians.
How should I position THOR in a portfolio?
Appropriate allocation depends on an investor's investment objectives, risk tolerance, time horizon, taxes and overall portfolio. Some advisers may evaluate THOR ETFs as part of a diversified portfolio. Where specific advice is necessary or appropriate, consult with a qualified tax advisor, CPA, financial planner or investment manager.
Performance & Risk
What kind of returns should I expect?
We do not make return predictions. The Funds seek to provide rules-based or actively managed exposure with risk-management features. There is no assurance that any strategy or Fund will achieve its objective.
What's your track record?
THLV launched on September 12, 2022; THIR launched on September 24, 2024; and THMR launched on April 8, 2026. See the Funds' webpages for live performance information.
How does THOR perform in different market environments?
The Funds' adaptive process is designed to respond across market regimes. The Funds seek to provide rules-based or actively managed exposure with risk-management features, and may underperform in some steady uptrends or choppy ranges. For a complete description of the Funds' principal investment risks, please refer to the prospectus.
Important Information
A risk-managed strategy may not prevent losses and may underperform other strategies or broad market indexes. The Funds' rules-based or quantitative processes depend on models, algorithms, data and assumptions that may be incorrect, incomplete or unavailable. If a model or data source does not perform as expected, a Fund may underperform or lose value. When a Fund holds a substantial portion of assets in cash, money market funds, cash alternatives or other defensive instruments, its opportunity to achieve its investment objective may be limited, and cash holdings may not keep pace with inflation. THMR is actively managed and may invest in stocks, ETFs and leveraged ETFs and may have exposure to fixed income, commodities including gold, alternatives and cryptocurrency-related ETPs. These investments can be volatile and speculative; leveraged ETFs can magnify gains and losses; cryptocurrency-related investments are highly volatile and subject to developing regulation; and the Fund has limited operating history.
Diversification and asset allocation strategies do not ensure a profit and cannot protect against losses in a declining market.
The ETFs discussed are not identical and differ in investment objective, strategy, methodology, holdings, sectors, fees and expenses, and principal-risk profile. Any comparison should be evaluated in light of these material differences. Different types of investments involve varying degrees of risk, and there can be no assurance that any specific investment will be either suitable or profitable for an investor's portfolio.
Where specific advice is necessary or appropriate, consult with a qualified tax advisor, CPA, financial planner or investment manager.
An investor should consider the investment objectives, risks, charges, and expenses of the Fund carefully before investing. The prospectus, if available, the summary prospectus contain this and other information about the Funds. You may obtain a prospectus and, if available, a summary prospectus by downloading the prospectus or calling 800-974-6964. Please read the prospectus or summary prospectus carefully before investing.
There is no assurance that the objectives of any strategy or fund will be achieved or will be successful.
An investment in the Fund involves risks, including possible loss of principal. Exchange-traded funds (ETFs) trade like stocks, are subject to investment risk, fluctuate in market value and may trade at prices above or below the ETF's net asset value (NAV), and are not individually redeemable directly with the ETF. Brokerage commissions and ETF expenses will reduce returns. ETFs are subject to specific risks, depending on the nature of the underlying strategy of the Fund, which should be considered carefully when making investment decisions. For a complete description of the Fund's principal investment risks, please refer to the prospectus.
